Before you call someone ‘nuts’ you had better do your homework.

According to the roster us ‘conspiracy theorists’ have been dead on target for the past 10 years. I remember when we ‘theorized’ that the oil companies would dominate the country’s policies and lo and be-freakin’-hold they did. We ‘theorized’ a conspiracy regarding the credit and banking and lending institutions. Oh yes, we’re deeper in shit than a fly wearing snowshoes and of course we were just ‘conspiracy theorizing’. If anyone is nuts around here it’s people like you who are too cowardly to confront the variations and responsibilities. Yet I’m sure you can explain that to the millions of people on the border of losing their homes and jobs due to us ‘theorizing’ and instead they listended to windbags like you and Limbaugh and it led them down the road to ruin.

So for now, we’ll stick with conspiracy theorizing, if humanity spent more time do ing it we wouldn’t fall for these Goebbel like scams you so called ‘critical thought/analytical minded’ elitists spit out on a constant basis.

The only problem with this is that you have to have charges pending against you in order to be pardoned. This is why the Dems are waiting until after Bush is out of office to press charges. It is also the reason that Pelosi took “impeachment off the table”.

Cheney might try the “Wallace Wilkinson” (former Gov. of KY) strategy. He never graduated from the Univ. of KY, and was snubbed for an Honorary Doctorate by UK while he was Gov. In revenge, he merely appointed himself to the Board of Trustees!

No doubt Cheney would try to pardon himself, and then the issue would be up to the Supreme Court. You think they would take up the issue, after all the second-guessing of getting involved in the election of 2000?

Only one problem with your scenario: Cheney’s VP choice would have to be confirmed by Congress, and there’s no way they’ll do that under these circumstances.
