So it took a second asshole at the pulpit to get Barack Obama to realize it was time to get out of Dodge?  Let’s hope if he’s elected president he’ll be better at picking the company he keeps.  This is the wildest political story in decades.  Not only does a presidential candidate shun his preacher for acting like an asshole, but he also leaves his church when a Catholic priest shows up and does ten times worse the damage!  What is going on in Chicago?  Is this the “Al Sharpton” wanna be contest?  What’s going to happen next, the altar boys are going to start wearing Malcolm X t-shirts? 

You wonder whom the real enemy is nowadays.  For the first time in history a man, a member of America’s minority community and a man of letters is one step away from being leader of the free world yet his own friends and spiritual advisors have all the couthe of a wounded rhinoceros at a baby shower. 

One thing’s for certain, after this demonstration of unbridled unrestraint, it’ll take a lot more to shake the Illinois senator’s tree which is what we’ll need in the next president in order for him or her to clean up the incomprehensible mess left by the Bush Administration.
